The Swift Sensors SS3-105 Remote Temperature Sensor is used to monitor temperatures inside walk-in coolers, freezers and other refrigeration units. The sensor is mounted outside of the unit and the probe is inserted into the controlled refrigeration area through an access port or drilled hole. This installation allows for stronger communicate signals with gateways while ensuring an accurate temperature measurement. Temperature data is automatically logged for reporting and alerts notify managers if temperatures drift beyond warning or critical limits.
