Dean Drako
Founder and Executive Chairman
Dean Drako has founded and run several successful companies. He is best known as former president and CEO of Barracuda Networks, which he founded to solve the spam and email security problem, growing the company from a concept to become a cloud and IT security industry leader with more than $200 million in annual sales, 1000 employees, and 150,000 customers. Drako is currently founder and CEO of Eagle Eye Networks, where he is replacing video recording systems for businesses with cloud video surveillance. He recently acquired cloud physical security company Brivo, where he serves as chairman. Drako received his BSEE from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and MSEE from the University of California, Berkeley, and holds 27 patents.
Ray Almgren
President and CEO
Ray Almgren joined Swift Sensors in July 2016 as Chief Marketing Officer to lead the launch of the company and products into the market in December 2016. In April 2019 Almgren took on the role of Chief Operating Officer, leading engineering, operations, and marketing. In August 2020 Almgren was named Chief Executive Officer. Almgren has more than 30 years of experience in the electronic measurement, control, and embedded software industries. Prior to joining Swift Sensors, Almgren was the VP of Marketing at NI in Austin, TX–a leading technology provider for test, measurement, and the Industrial Internet of Things (IoT). Almgren received his B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
Marek Rychlik
Co-Founder and Director of Software Engineering
Marek Rychlik co-founded Swift Sensors in May 2015 as architect and principal software engineer. Marek brings more than 30 years of experience as software developer, project manager, technical lead, and award-winning user-interface designer at software companies such as Dell, RWD Technologies, Virtual Bridges, and Cloudtools. With a total focus on the end user, Marek’s highly analytical and detail-oriented approach results in best-in-class user experiences that simplify interactions with complex information. His projects include cloud management, virtual desktop infrastructure, elastic computing, disaster recovery, training modules, and rich web applications. Marek received his B.S. in Computer Science and a minor in Music from Goucher College, MD.
Fredy Uruchima
Principal Hardware Engineer
Fredy Uruchima joined Swift Sensors in December 2025 as Principal Hardware Engineer. Uruchima is an experienced Electrical and Hardware Engineering Leader with over a decade of expertise driving end-to-end product development across aerospace, semiconductor, and IoT industries. His career spans from designing satellite systems for space programs at SSL to leading next-generation photolithography hardware at ASML. Uruchima reflects a passion for solving complex problems and transforming ideas into impactful hardware innovations that shape the future of connected systems. Uruchima received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from City College of New York and M.Eng. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Maryland College Park.
Jason Moyer
Director of Sales
Jason Moyer joined Swift Sensors in January of 2023 as the Director of Sales. Jason has more than 20 years of experience in sales, sales management, customer service, acquisition, retainment, and leadership. Prior to joining Swift Sensors, Jason worked as VP of Sales and Marketing for companies in Network Management, IT Services, and Database Management. Jason is a proven leader in solution-based selling, SaaS, software and hardware sales, channel development, relationship management, and enablement. His passion is working with people to help them enhance their lives and careers.
Kevin Keithley
Director of Marketing
Kevin Keithley joined Swift Sensors in September of 2023 as the Director of Marketing. Kevin has more than 25 years of experience leading growth marketing teams in the medical device and tech industries. Kevin has a history of implementing transformative marketing strategies that streamline business operations and escalate revenue for B2B and B2C startups. Prior to Swift Sensors, Kevin was Head of Marketing for a medical device and tech startup, and Director, Digital Marketing for several medical and dental laboratories.
