With the SS3-901 Indoor Air Quality Monitoring Sensor, you can monitor critical air quality and environmental conditions to ensure the health, safety, and productivity of your students, employees, and customers. The sensor combines multiple measurements into simple, high-level room scores: the Health Score and Comfort Score. In addition, the sensor has immediate event detection for smoking/vaping, motion, and physical tampering of the device.
Health and Comfort Scores
The intuitive dashboard displays Health and Comfort scores and indicates if any of the specific measurements are out of the ideal range. Easily group sensors into an area, floor, or entire building to generate aggregate metrics across an entire facility.

Detection Measurements
Smoking / Vaping
Vape Index is a score derived from multiple measurements to detect the probability of vaping or smoking activity. Index values greater than 10 represent an increasing probability that vaping or smoking activity is occurring. Smoke from cooking, burning fuel, or wildfires may also register highly.
Motion / Activity
The motion sensor identifies motion or activity within XX feet of the sensor. Generate alerts based on motion to detect activity in a secure area, or report on the percentage of time that an area was occupied based on activity throughout the day.
Device Tampering
Detect attempts to disable the sensor with immediate tamper alerts to protect the integrity of your air quality measurements and react quickly to potential vandalism.
Air Quality and Compliance Reporting
Generate reports showing the daily minimum, maximum, and daily averages of each score as well as any of the individual measurements and export to PDF or Excel. Or generate a compliance report showing the percentage of time that air quality measurements were within normal, healthy levels based on configurable thresholds.
